Meet the Team: Matthew Simpson-Foster

August 2, 2018 | News & Updates

CCFPG is proud to have Matthew Simpson-Foster leading the team in their Terrigal office. Matt’s main strength is his ability to connect with our clients and understand what their ambitions, passions and goals are. He then creates strategies that will support them to achieve their goals. Matt is always happy to share his knowledge and support the CCFPG team.

To help you get to know Matt, we had CCFPG Marketing Manager Stacey Jones, ask him a few quick questions.

How did you get into financial planning?

It’s a long story! To put it simply, it’s a culmination of working in the Financial Services industry since 2000 within the superannuation, insurance and investment sectors, along with the desire to help people that truly need advice.

What do you find most rewarding about your job?

I have always enjoyed helping people – seeing my clients achieve their lifelong goals is the best part of my job. It’s extremely rewarding knowing that I helped get them there.

What do you like doing in your free time?

I have three kids under seven. What’s this ‘free time’ you speak of?

Outside of work what’s important to you?

  • Family
  • Friends
  • My health and trying to get fit again

Describe your ideal day in Terrigal

Every day is an ideal day when you live in Terrigal. It’s the perfect place to work and raise a family.

What three things can you not live without?

  • My family
  • Coffee
  • A sneaky burrito & beer

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given

“If you want something you don’t have, you have to do something you’ve never done.”

To book an initial meeting with Matthew, please call Central Coast Financial Planning Group on 02 4309 3318.
