Recently making the transition from accounting to financial planning; Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge to our growing CCFPG team. Central Coast born and bred, Ryan has lived in Umina for the majority of his life and is a keen surfer and runner.
He is passionate about ensuring that his clients are investing their money in the best possible way, and that their wealth is adequately protected.
To help you get to know Ryan, we had CCFPG Marketing Manager Stacey Jones ask him a few questions.
Tell me a bit about your role at CCFPG.
I’m a Financial Adviser. My role is to understand my clients financial goals and provide them with the best possible advice for the future. It’s my job to be there for my clients every step of the way and through every milestone they reach in life.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
The biggest reward for me comes from helping my clients drill down on their financial and non-financial goals, and then help prepare a plan to ensure those goals are reached. There’s nothing more fulfilling than when you have clients that trust you to help them organise and manage their future. I also enjoy the great group of people that I get to work with every day, and the unique work culture that has been created in both the Central Coast and Newcastle offices.
Describe your ideal day on the Central Coast.
My idea day on the Coast would start with breakfast at Pearl Beach, followed by a surf somewhere along the stretch of beaches from Killcare to Wamberal. My wife and I would then watch a movie at Erina and finish the day off with a BBQ and drinks with friends and family.
What three things can you not live without?
My family, my wife Lara and our little dog Jack.
Describe yourself in three words.
Enthusiastic, determined and passionate.
What three people (dead or alive) would you like to have dinner with and why?
Leonardo DiCaprio, Gerard Butler and Anthony Mundine. I’m a big fan of Leonardo and Gerard’s movies and would love to dine with Anthony “The Man” Mundine as I think he is a pretty inspirational Australian with all that he has achieved to date. I also think he has a very interesting outlook on the world and is the epitome of someone who believes in themselves and the goals they can achieve if they put their mind to it.
